Is SPF in my foundation enough?

Is the SPF in my foundation enough?   hmmnnn , I get this question ALOT !  and my answer is always NO !  LOL sorry, I know you would like me to agree with you however, protecting your skin is HUGE especially if you don’t want your skin to look like an Alligator when your older, or a Dalmatian or have lots of wrinkling due to loss of elasticity.  Now, yes we all age, and when the skin ages we will be able to see these signs of aging either mildly or with increased severity and it all boils down to lifestyle, stress and SPF !!  Yes a fabulous skincare regimen helps tremendously and great nutrition, but the UV radiation from the SUN earns number 1 spot for wreaking havoc with your skin and without it , results in wrinkling, pigmentation and loss of elasticity.  The visible effects can be reduced by wearing an SPF — EVERYDAY.  Yes we live on planet Earth and the Sun rises daily even in February.

SPF years ago was not as cosmetically elegant as it is today!  Manufacturers have really stepped up their game when it comes to face SPF , woooohooo .   Look for physical blocks, Zinc ( non-nano) and Titanium Dioxide.  Apply all over face, neck and décolleté and the backs of your hands. Remember to reapply if you are doing outside activities, gardening, biking, beach etc.  and grab your favorite UPF brim hat , it all helps .
